Magic Guarri

Magic Guarri, scientifically known as Euclea divinorum, is a tree native to various East African countries including Angola, Botswana, Burundi, and Ethiopia. This plant thrives in full sun and can tolerate both dry and moist conditions, making it adaptable to different soil types such as light (sandy), medium, and heavy (clay). It is hardy in zones 10-12 and can grow up to 8 meters tall. Known for its edible parts—fruit, inner bark, leaves, and root—it has been utilized by local communities for centuries. Its distinctive feature lies in its ability to survive in diverse environments, contributing to its widespread presence across the African continent.
