Common Lousewort

Known for its edible leaves, which can be consumed raw or cooked, Common Lousewort has a distinctive feature: it belongs to the Orobanchaceae family and features unusual tubular flowers that resemble tiny red bells, often tinged with purple. Its native range includes states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, and Florida, among others.
