Camellia

Camellia gracilis, a member of the Theaceae family, is native to China's southeast regions, Hainan, and Taiwan, with occasional sightings in Vietnam. Known for its ornamental value and culinary uses, this evergreen shrub or small tree can grow up to 4 meters tall. It thrives in moist, light (sandy) to medium soil and prefers partial sun to full sun. One distinctive feature is its delicate, white flowers that add a touch of elegance to gardens. Another notable characteristic is the plant's edible nature; its seeds are used for oil production, while its leaves can be brewed into tea.
