Mentha pulegium

Mentha pulegium, commonly known as pennyroyal, belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is native to a wide range of countries including Albania, Algeria, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, and others. This perennial herb is valued for both its culinary and medicinal uses. Pennyroyal thrives in moist, light to heavy soils with a pH between 7 and 7.5, making it adaptable but preferring well-drained conditions.
