Its native range extends across Central European Rus, East European Russia, Germany, Hungary, and other Eastern European countries, as well as parts of Asia such as Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Ukraine, West Siberia, and Xinjiang.
