Salvia verbenaca

Salvia verbenaca, commonly known as verbena sage, belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is native to a wide range of Mediterranean regions including Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, and various islands in the Mediterranean such as Corsica and Cyprus. This perennial herb can grow up to 0.6 meters tall and thrives in light (sandy) or medium soil with a pH between 7.5 and 8, making it suitable for dry to moist conditions. Known both for its edible parts—flowers and leaves—and medicinal uses, verbena sage is valued for its culinary applications as well as traditional remedies.
