Ingredients for 1
Method
- I
Warm your mug by rinsing it with hot water, then discard.
- II
Add the chamomile flowers and pour over the water — do not use fully boiling water, it turns the tea bitter.
- III
Cover with a saucer or lid and steep 5–8 minutes. Longer = more sedative; shorter = more floral.
- IV
Strain into the warmed mug, stir in the honey, squeeze in the lemon wedge.
- V
Drink 60–90 minutes before bed.
Notes & variations
Use whole flowers rather than tea bags for a clearer flavor. For a stronger nervine effect, blend with equal parts lemon balm. Skip during first-trimester pregnancy.
