Plants that suppress fungal infections — Candida overgrowth, ringworm, athlete's foot, nail fungi. Useful topically and as adjuncts to diet in systemic candidiasis.
Mechanism
Volatile oils (tea tree, oregano) disrupt fungal cell membranes; berberine-containing plants inhibit fungal enzymes.
